Schmitz Cargobull hands over their 50,000th semi-trailer in Poland

Ołtarzew/Horstmar, December 19, 2017 – On 1 December 2017 the 50,000th semi-trailer delivered by EWT in Poland was handed over to Raben. As the general representative of Schmitz Cargobull AG for the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, as well as Mercedes-Benz dealer for the Czech and Polish markets, the EWT group has been a leading premium class partner in the truck and trailer sector since 1995. Natacha and Dirk Hoffmann, the owners and board members of EWT Truck & Trailer GmbH & Co. KG, together with Boris Billich, CSO of Schmitz Cargobull, delivered an S.CS MEGA curtainsider semi-trailer to Paweł Trębicki, the CEO of Raben Transport.

EWT Truck & Trailer Polska Sp. z. o. o., an authorised general agent for Schmitz Cargobull in Poland, has maintained a collaborative partnership with Raben for many years. As one of their first customers, EWT has provided Polish Raben Group companies with 1,149 Schmitz Cargobull trailers.

“We are especially happy that the 50,000th Schmitz Cargobull semi-trailer provided to the Polish market by EWT Polska since its establishment in 1998 is going to our long-time and loyal customer Raben Transport. The S.CS MEGA curtainsider that was delivered has a plank tarpauling and will primarily be used by Raben Transport for the automotive industry to transport spare parts for Mercedes-Benz. The body with the Schmitz Cargobull plank tarpaulin is particularly well suited to this task as the tarpaulin is very sturdy at the sides. Moreover, time is saved when loading and unloading as no support laths are required.

Raben Transport is a company belonging to the Raben Group that specializes in international, domestic and intermodal complete loads.
