KAMAZ is produce drive shafts with the Turkish company

Naberezhnye Chelny, August 21, 2017 – KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) and Turkey’s Tirsan Kardan signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture for the production of drive shafts in Russia.
The MOU was signed at the 86th International Fair in Izmir, Turkey. KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogogin and Chairman of TİRYAKİLER GRUBU Mehmet Tiryaki assigned their signatures to the document. The event was also attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Energy Aleksandr Novak.
“The JV will bear the name Tirsan-Kama and focus on the production and delivery of drive shafts to conveyors of commercial vehicles in Russia and the CIS countries,” says the press release on the agreement. It is planned that the future enterprise will be located on the territory of Kama Industrial Park Master.
