DAF Trucks appoints Braća Crnomarković as distributor in Serbia

Belgrade, July 7, 2012 – DAF Trucks N.V. has signed an agreement with company Braća Crnomarković from Serbian capital Belgrade for the sales, service and marketing activities of DAF in Serbia. Company Braća Crnomarković will also represent PACCAR Parts and DAF International Truck Service (ITS) to guarantee first-class service.

“DAF Trucks is one of the most successful truck producers in Europe and offers excellent products supported by leading services, the key to success in Serbia. We are extremely enthusiastic and feel honored that we have been appointed as the new DAF-distributor”, says Obrad Crnomarković, CEO of Braća Crnomarković.

The new distributor in Serbia has two service locations, including a new sales office with a modern workshop in Kovilj, close to Novi Sad (next to international road E-75 Szeged-Subotica-Novi Sad-Belgrade).

“We want to extend our network in due course to further strengthen the market position of DAF Trucks. Our goal is to achieve a market share of 14% in 2012.”

DAF Trucks supplies the Serbian market with the XF105 for long-haul and the LF45 for distribution applications. “At the moment we are also looking into the possibilities of using the CF series in the national distribution”, says Obrad Crnomarković.
