TFC KAMAZ expands the range of K5 generation vehicles
July 29, 2024
Naberezhnye Chelny, July 29, 2024 – In July, employees of KAMAZ Trade and Financial Company, together with the special equipment manufacturing plant OOO Rustrak, introduced a curtain-sided truck on the KAMAZ-65658-B5 chassis with a 6×2/2 wheel arrangement.
The new modification of the K5 generation vehicle is designed to transport various goods that do not require compliance with a certain temperature regime. A sliding roof, sliding sides of the curtain-sided design and rear hinged doors ensure convenient loading of products. The capacity is 20 Euro pallets (load capacity 15.2 tones).
The vehicle is equipped with an economical six-cylinder in-line engine with a maximum power of 390 hp and a modern robotic twelve-speed gearbox. The driver’s comfort is ensured by a cabin with a four-point suspension, air conditioning, and a modern multimedia system. The cabin has well-thought-out ergonomics, and there is a berth for the driver to rest.
Another feature of the vehicle is the automatic lifting rear axle, which increases the vehicle’s carrying capacity and reduces the load on the drive axle when fully loaded. When the truck is not loaded or not fully loaded, the rear axle is raised, reducing the overall rolling resistance of the vehicle. At the same time, average fuel consumption is reduced (up to 3%), handling is improved, and the turning radius is reduced.
The main customers interested in purchasing a curtain-sided truck on the KAMAZ-65658-B5 chassis are logistics, trading companies (marketplaces), construction industry organizations and retail.
