Stuttgart-Sibiu, March 24, 2014 – The Romanian bus company Atlassib SRL has added ten Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches with Euro VI engines to its fleet. The vehicles were officially put into service following the handover by the EvoBus Romania S.L.R. team to Mr Micu Daniel, managing director of Atlassib SRL, at the company’s site in Sibiu on 21 March 2014.

All of the Tourismo buses feature extensive touring coach equipment including a refrigerator, a toilet, a video and radio system with two monitors at the front end and in the door-2 area plus an air conditioning system for the passenger compartment and the driver’s area. Whereas nine of these ten Tourismo coaches have space for 53 passengers, the remaining model is equipped with 44 Softline seats with high-grade upholstery. This touring coach also has a fitted kitchenette and, unlike the nine other Tourismo models painted in pure white, is finished in metallic bordeaux. In keeping with the equipment and appointments on board this model, Atlassib plans to use the vehicle for its particularly discerning customers and special occasions.

Atlassib Srl was founded in Sibiu in 1993. Today the internationally active company operates 37 lines in 12 EU countries. Its key markets are Italy, Germany and Spain. The ten Tourismo models increase the fleet’s size to 168 touring coaches. Around 1400 employees are responsible for ensuring that some 550,000 passengers a year reach their destination safely and reliably.
